Welcome to Child Abuse Prevention Services!

The National Exchange Club Foundation is committed to making a difference in the lives of children, families and our communities through our national project, Child Abuse Prevention (also called CAP). The NEC Foundation's most successful method of countering abuse is by working directly with parents through our Parent Aide Model home visitation program. The NEC Foundation coordinates a nationwide network of nearly 100 Exchange Club Child Abuse Prevention Centers that utilize the Parent Aide Model and provide support to families at-risk for abuse.

ABC News PRIMETIME Review the ABC Primetime special on "Parenting: Breaking the Cycle of Abuse", featuring a family from an Exchange Club Center, the special includes a variety of interviews and a panel discussion with Linda Riggs, Salamanca, NY Exchange Club Center Executive Director; Karen Askew, National Exchange Club Foundation Interim Executive Director; and Alan Kazdin, Ph.D., professor of psychology and child psychology at Yale University. The focus of the program is that raising children can be extremely challenging, but help is available to parents. Want to see this entire special online? CLICK HERE
